Sandy Glenn

SOUTH CAROLINA

Sandy has been involved in Human Rights activism for over 20 years as a birth choice and maternity attendant advocate. She has lobbied for and against numerous South Carolina state and federal bills and has represented various organizations at SC House and Senate Committee meetings. She has been on various state and national professional & legislative committees in the areas of birth, midwives and birthing centers. She is currently working with education in international and local residency placement/training for Certified Professional Midwives.

In 2015, Sandy’s husband and step-sons became trapped in the corruption of Family Court. As they encountered many broken laws, their fight escalated to state appeals and both state and federal lawsuits. Realizing that this fight was much larger than just their one case, Sandy now seeks to pull the many family rights groups together to implement improved oversight and enforcement of our states Code of Laws and Court Rules. Sandy Glenn, LM CPM, is the mother of four sons and stepmother of three more sons.
