Walter A. Cooper

LTC Cooper entered the Army as an enlisted man and later received a Presidential appointment to the U.S. Military Academy.  During his career, he served with the 101st Airborne Division, the 5th Mechanized Division, the 1st Armored Division, Army Communications Command, the Army Materiel Command  and the Defense Communications Agency/Defense Information Systems Agency.

His overseas assignments and deployments include service in Vietnam, Germany and Panama.  In addition, he served as a military advisor to the Ministry of Defense and Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia and he was and exchange officer at the U.S. Marine Corps Education Center in Quantico, VA.

LTC Cooper holds a BS degree from the U.S. Military Academy, an MBA from the University of Georgia and diplomas from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Armed Forces Staff College, the U.S. Army Special Warfare School, the Defense Language Institute and the Marine Corps Education Center.  LTC Cooper’s intimate knowledge of Ho Chi Minh’s strategies and tactics are of particular benefit to FCLU’s strategy of educating the public’s opinion of the current family court system practices and forcing change where change is overdue.
