South Carolina State Chapter

Chapter President: Jacqueline Pidanick
Co-chapter President: Sandy Reid Glenn

I am the mother of 4 sons and stepmother of 3 more sons. I am a Licensed Midwife and proponent of natural parenting styles such as co-sleeping, breastfeeding, attachment parenting and homeschooling when appropriate. During my professional career, I have worked with several civil rights groups especially in the areas of birth options and childbirth alternative care.
I have lobbied with SC midwives to successfully stop bills violating fare trade to the profession of midwifery and birth center facilities. I have been instrumental in drafting bills and continue to negotiate for the profession in our statehouse.
I look forward to encouraging real change within our family court system and instigating a system of integrity and trust. The future of our children is not insignificant, and it is our responsibility to navigate a path that lead them to safety.
