THE NATIONAL VOICE OF FAMILIES
PROTECTING FAMILIES FROM THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM

Reform Commissions

Family Law Reform Commissions are required in every state in the nation to address the problems and invoke change.  With state laws varying widely, family law must be reformed state by state.  The FCLU is petitioning for national standards and regulations but this will take longer to achieve.

State’s which are reluctant to establish reform commissions will be subject to relentless pressure by the tens of thousands of divorce court victims and the press.  The more proactive a state is, the more honorable they will appear to their tax payers.

Currently New York and New Jersey have received official requests to establish State Reform Commissions.  Connecticut, California, Florida and Maine are next.  If we receive resistant to change, our momentum will force reluctant states to accept the tax payer’s demand for change.
