Rev. Mc Clain is currently an advocate  for citizens having problems with the Philadelphia Family  Court  or their  attorneys. She is very proud  to support FCLU in an effort to help others  who have experienced a miscarriage of justice, either  from  the Court  system,  or from their  attorneys.

Dr. Mc Clain has been Assistant  Pastor and Business Administrator at Christ  Missionary Crusade Fellowship Church, and is the Founder of Rose of Sharon Mission Ministries. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women;  Police Chaplain – 18th  Police District – West Philadelphia; Zeta Phi Beta National Sorority  – member; N.A.A.C.P. – member; Penn-Knox Neighborhood Association – member; Friends  of Cohen/Ogontz Free Library – Member; Neighborhood Interfaith Movement – member; Habitat for Humanity – member.

Rev. Mc Clain has worked as a Telecommunications and Energy Dealer  helping people  save money.  Professionally, she has worked as a Clinical  Mental  Health Therapist, Foster Care Social Worker, Mental  Health Case Manager, Mental  Health Counselor; State Prison Mental  Health Counselor; State Prison Hostage Negotiator; Assistant Director – Shelter for Women  and Children; Administrator/Supervisor State Funded Program for Children-at-risk.

Dr. Mc Clain completed her education in the Philadelphia School System.  Her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree  in Human Services and Masters’ Degree  of Education in Counseling.  She also has a  Ph.D. in Religious Studies and other  training.

Dr. Mc Clain is the proud  daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Herbert Linton Mc Clain, Jr. and Jessie Blocker.  She considers herself an “Army Brat” as she has traveled all over the world, wherever her father was stationed on field duty, who served as a Captain and worked as a Chaplain for 20 years until he retired. He was Pastor Emeritus at Bethel Presbyterian Church, North Philadelphia.
